AI-GENERATED NOTES FROM YOUTUBE VIDEO

From a YouTube lecture to notes you can use.

Paste a public lecture link. Review the source and outline, then create structured notes, diagrams and recall practice in your private study workspace.

How YouTube lecture notes work

Syaahii reads available captions from a public lecture. If captions are missing and video reading is configured, it attempts a clearly labelled AI-extracted digest. You review the material before a lesson is generated.

Public videos up to 60 minutes. Processing time varies with the source, worker and provider availability.

One source. A complete study workflow.

  1. Read the source. Captions first; a public-video digest when supported. Neither a title nor metadata replaces the lecture.
  2. Review the plan. Check key topics, extracted text and uncertainty. Edit your outline before using lesson credits.
  3. Generate a study atlas. Definitions, useful examples, comparisons and deterministic diagrams keep ideas connected.
  4. Test your understanding. Ask the lesson assistant, answer quiz questions and revisit flashcards.

No transcript? Here is the fallback.

A digest is a summary of what a video-reading model could extract, not a verbatim transcript. If the video cannot be read reliably, the workspace asks for a permitted recording or a pasted transcript. It does not silently fabricate content.

Keep your work when the browser closes.

The extraction request creates an owned background job. Short progress checks show whether it is queued, reading or checking teaching content. Prepare the same link again to resume the saved job. A worker must be running for the queue to progress.

Sources and lesson contents stay private to your account. Review AI output against the lecture before relying on it.

Common questions

How do I make AI-generated notes from a YouTube video?

Sign in to Syaahii, paste a public YouTube lecture link into the learning workspace and select Prepare. Review the extracted source and outline before generating notes. Completed notes support editing, printable PDF export, lesson chat, quizzes and flashcards.

What happens if a YouTube video has no transcript?

Syaahii first tries available captions. With a configured video-reading provider, it can attempt an AI-extracted digest of the public video. The digest is labelled as AI-extracted and must be reviewed. If reliable reading is unavailable, upload a recording you are allowed to use or paste a transcript. Syaahii does not invent a lecture from its title.

Can Syaahii read every YouTube link?

No. The current limit is a public lecture up to 60 minutes. Private, unavailable, blocked or unsupported videos may need another source. Video reading depends on provider access, limits and availability.

Will a long lecture cause a request timeout?

Video reading runs as a saved background job. The workspace checks its progress with short requests. Preparing the same link again resumes the owned job, so a closed browser does not lose the queue record. Processing still depends on a running worker; sleeping services can delay it.

Are the notes guaranteed to be accurate?

No. AI may omit context or make mistakes. Check the extracted material, source references, formulas and examples against the lecture. An AI-extracted digest is not a verbatim transcript or proof of a timestamp.
